Ecosystem Based Management Workshop

March 09, 2017 –  UNEP-CEP as Secretariat to the Cartagena Convention with financial support from the UNDP/GEF CLME+ Project will be convening a two day stakeholder dialogue to formulate the Ecosystem Based Management sub-project for the North Brazil Shelf Large Marine Ecosystem (LME). Steering Committee meeting of the Caribbean Marine Atlas Project

February 16, 2017 – The second Steering Committee meeting of the Caribbean Marine Atlas Project is taking place in Cartagena, Colombia. This meeting has been organised by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Sub-Commission for the Caribbean and Adjacent Regions (IOC/IOCaribe) and hosted by the Institute of Marine and Coastal Research of Colombia (INVEMAR). Joint Meeting with SPAW & LBS STACs in Miami

November 8, 2016 – Over 60 scientific and technical experts from the Wider Caribbean Region (WCR), representing Governments, Research Institutions, Intergovernmental and Non-Governmental Organizations, and the Private Sector, were meeting in Miami from October 31st to November 4th 2016 to discuss current and emerging pollution and biodiversity issues impacting the Caribbean Sea.
